Australia's Qantas Airways will receive the first of 50 Boeing 787 aircraft in mid-2012, around two years earlier than previously expected, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
Qantas said its firm orders for the Boeing 787 aircraft remain at 50 and it retains the ability to purchase an additional 50 aircraft.
